Why Choose Cross Texas Electric

Pre-Construction Planning

We work with your builder or architect to plan circuits, panel location, and layout before framing begins.

Rough-In & Trim-Out

We handle both phases — wire runs before drywall and device installation after — for a complete job.

Kitchen & Bath Specialists

Modern kitchens need dedicated circuits. Remodeled bathrooms need GFCI and exhaust fan wiring. We know the code requirements.

All Inspections Handled

New construction requires multiple electrical inspections. We coordinate all of them and pass on the first try.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should you be involved in new construction?
Ideally before framing — so we can review plans, coordinate panel location, and plan circuit layout. At minimum, we need to be on-site before insulation for rough-in inspection.
How many circuits does a kitchen remodel need?
Current code requires two 20A small-appliance circuits for countertop outlets, plus dedicated circuits for the refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave — at minimum.
Do you pull permits for remodel work?
Yes. Remodel electrical requires permits in most jurisdictions. We pull them, file them, coordinate inspections, and ensure the work is signed off before the project closes.
Can you add an EV charger rough-in during a remodel?
Yes — and a remodel or construction phase is the most cost-effective time. We run conduit and wire during rough-in so the charger can be installed any time with minimal additional cost.
